Offerings

Mindful Teens. Inspired by Gabriel Kram's curriculum Applied Mindfulness: Inner Life Skills and Jon Kabit-Zinn's Mindfulness Based Stress Relief, this multi-week facilitated group introduces teens to the idea of their own inner life and the gifts that mindful awareness can bring to them throughout their lives. 

Restore and Recharge. This adult class is geared towards seeking greater self-inquiry and self-acceptance so that we can be of greater service off the mat. Focus is placed on utilizing trauma aware practices, body positive values and activating the healing branch of the nervous system.  Movement practices are drawn from a wide variety of modalities and lineages with no particular dogma adhered to. Gentle flow, breath work and a focus on mindfulness are essential ingredients for each class. Expect to use props, unwind tension and enjoy a long savasana! 

Little Yogis. Kids are natural yogis! Yoga enhances natural body awareness, strength and confidence in youth. Practicing yoga fosters compassion, cooperation and self-acceptance while developmentally appropriate mindfulness practices encourage emotional self- regulation. Most of all, yoga is fun! Class with younger students incorporate storytelling, music and expressive arts while pre/teens are invited to focus on stress management and building a strong inner life.

Family Yoga. Join your little one for a wonderful bonding opportunity. Practice moving your bodies, being silly and playing well with others. Regular yoga increases emotional regulation and self-awareness, meaning less meltdowns and more fun! Breathing exercises and stretching offers relaxation for parents and tots alike. Class incorporates storytelling, music and games to keep children engaged and excited.
